Villa Iris, part of the Levanda villas Georgioupolis, is a wonderful villa of 75 sq.m. which aims to take you on a journey through the living of the traditional Cretan villages, such as Exopoli, as well as their unique natural landscape. It is located just 6 minutes drive from the traditional village of Georgioupoli, with the wonderful river that originates from the White Mountains of Chania and empties into the Cretan sea.

Villa Iris is located at the right of the complex, is 75 m² and stands out for its romantic element. Its exterior space overruns the visitor with the colors of nature and fragrance from the local herbs. The outdoor courtyard houses the 1.50m deep private pool, ideal for unique dives overlooking the magical beauty of nature. In this area there are sun loungers for unique moments of relaxation and carelessness.
Villa Levanda Iris Georgioupolis is a new, traditional 2-bedroom Villa of 75 sq m with a small private pool, located on a hillside in the small, peaceful village of ExopolisGeorgioupolis. An open plan living room area with a sofa corner and a TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table is provided. One bathroom with a shower and a washing machine is also provided. Villa Levanda Iris has two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed which opens to the swimming pool area, and another bedroom with two single beds. A 5th guest can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room area, and a 6th guest on an additional portable bed. Free wireless internet and air condition in every bedroom are offered.
All guests of villa Iris can enjoy a private swimming pool (18 sq m, 6*3 meters) with lovely calm views to amazing countryside, the mountains and the village of Exopolis. Sun loungers and sun umbrellas in the pool area are available. Aromatic herbs and local plants decorate the courtyard and provide lovely scents. A portable barbecue, private entrance and private parking area are provided.

Villa Iris Outdoor Space / Pool
Villa Iris Georgioupolis is located on the left side of the complex, is 77m2 and it's the one you meet first as you ascend to the mountain. Villa Zea exterior space overruns the visitor with the colors of nature and fragrance from the local herbs. In the outdoor yard there is a private swimming pool overlooking the vast green, depth 1.50 and 0.50 meters for our older and younger guests. In this area there are deck chairs for endless hours of relaxation and carelessness.

Moving inwards in Villa Iris we first see the kitchen. Meals are also available, as the kitchen houseroom is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, cooker and fridge. The lounge area is equipped with a fireplace for cold winter nights and a flat-screen TV.

Best travel experience in Crete during pandemic!
I travelled often to Greece - mainland and islands. Recently I visited Crete (Chania Region), twice during the pandemic and so far our stay at Villa Levanda Iris has been the best for location, location, location: if you want to experience proper Greek hospitality, rent a car, choose a villa or house with pool. Villa Levanda Iris is a nice, self contained property away from anything yet at short distance from three tavernas (5 minutes walk). The view of the mountains with the seaside town of Georgioupoli (2.5 Kms downhill stroll) it is already worth your money. Anything you need is in town - supermarkets for essentials, plenty of places to drink and eat, lovely little shops and a great store to buy wine, cheese and meat (Center of town by the fountains). It is the right size property: if you like us (3) travel in a small group, the house is perfect! Lovely patio with pool (1.40mt depth, good for families and more as plunge pool to chill and refresh. A family of four would find it very comfortable indeed. And additional group of 4 could rent the adjacent villa (smaller pool, better for kids) and share what the two properties have to offer away from the hustle and bustle. our biggest THANK YOU to Maria at Thehotel.gr - most attentive, helpful and responsive for absolutely anything. We are quite self sufficient and figure things out of our own but the extra care was so much more appreciated. The family that owns the villas live in the property right at the entrance of the road to the property. Konstantina and “George” are amazing, fun, welcoming and you get to experience proper Greek hospitality without intrusion. They even brought us food to try, Raki and open their house to us. Anything you need in the villa you can go through Maria of course but any emergency at any time you find them available. Definitely a property to call home away from home. We will be back.

Relaxing and comfortable with a beautiful view!
Great location just a 25 min walk to Georgioupolis town then taxi back 7 euros, very clean and comfortable villa, beautiful balcony and the pool was very clean. The view of the mountains was amazing, the best bit! Lovely hosts who were there to meet us when we arrived and answered any questions we had so quickly. We were two couples and we all agreed we would happily visit again! :)
