An ideal place for relaxation.

Perfect location, 5 min drive from the coast. Good outdoor space with plenty of different style seating. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner lived next door and advised if we needed anything to just knock on, didn’t need anything though as the villa was fully equipped. And I have to mention the shower, it was one of the best power showers I’ve ever used.

Prefect Villa to discover Western Crete in a very quiet place...with a view.

Very good value for money, the hosts gave us a perfect and warm welcome with the traditional Raki just to feel at home immediately. Perfect situation close to Chania and Rethymnon, the villa's location is ideal to discover Western Crete. Even if the villa is only 5 minutes away from Georgioupoli, the place is very quiet, ideal to relax near the private swimming pool with very nice view on the mountains. The hosts make you feel at home providing fresh and delicious products from their own garden. Thank you for this great moment in Crete.

Best travel experience in Crete during pandemic!

I travelled often to Greece - mainland and islands. Recently I visited Crete (Chania Region), twice during the pandemic and so far our stay at Villa Levanda Iris has been the best for location, location, location: if you want to experience proper Greek hospitality, rent a car, choose a villa or house with pool. Villa Levanda Iris is a nice, self contained property away from anything yet at short distance from three tavernas (5 minutes walk). The view of the mountains with the seaside town of Georgioupoli (2.5 Kms downhill stroll) it is already worth your money. Anything you need is in town - supermarkets for essentials, plenty of places to drink and eat, lovely little shops and a great store to buy wine, cheese and meat (Center of town by the fountains). It is the right size property: if you like us (3) travel in a small group, the house is perfect! Lovely patio with pool (1.40mt depth, good for families and more as plunge pool to chill and refresh. A family of four would find it very comfortable indeed. And additional group of 4 could rent the adjacent villa (smaller pool, better for kids) and share what the two properties have to offer away from the hustle and bustle. our biggest THANK YOU to Maria at Thehotel.gr - most attentive, helpful and responsive for absolutely anything. We are quite self sufficient and figure things out of our own but the extra care was so much more appreciated. The family that owns the villas live in the property right at the entrance of the road to the property. Konstantina and “George” are amazing, fun, welcoming and you get to experience proper Greek hospitality without intrusion. They even brought us food to try, Raki and open their house to us. Anything you need in the villa you can go through Maria of course but any emergency at any time you find them available. Definitely a property to call home away from home. We will be back.

Relaxing and comfortable with a beautiful view!

Great location just a 25 min walk to Georgioupolis town then taxi back 7 euros, very clean and comfortable villa, beautiful balcony and the pool was very clean. The view of the mountains was amazing, the best bit! Lovely hosts who were there to meet us when we arrived and answered any questions we had so quickly. We were two couples and we all agreed we would happily visit again! :)
